Scott -

Thanks - that is what I thought but wanted to verify. I am really impressed with his times.

No I probably wrote that wrong. Chris's motor is completely stock also. He is doing more with less that is for sure!! I may have to have him come down here and drive my car!

Much love to Chris and USP for kicking *** and taking names!

Corey,

I think Powell was implying that he fears he may lose the stock motor record if he doesn't up his game a bit. And I think he's right!!

Exactly. This is why I am going RWD soon and taking some more weight out of the car! I need to stop trying to do everything on a full tank of gas It was my own fault this time for the weight at the track (3640 with me in the car AND straight pipes). I had a little to much 93oct in the car so I had to dillute the mixture a LOT this time. Hell even my 5.05 was done with 3/4-full tank, but I didn't have a passenger seat in the car (But GT3 seats are SUPER light so its not like I was gaining a ton from that).

I want to get my race weight down to 3400-3450 with me in the car. I think it should vastly improve my 60-130 and 1/4 (Well 1/4 should give me .2 just going by the basic 100lbs = .1 of a sec).

10lbs weight reduction=1 free HP. I bet you that Chris Green's car has to weigh between 3100-3200 lbs, maybe even less. Running these cars on cooler temps is where the trick is at.

Chris is running 1.75bar Art. I think his power level at that boost level is right on par for a 3300-3400 lb car.

Chris, did you add weight to your car? Last time I weighed mine, it was 3150 empty with 1/4 tank of fuel, 3330 with me in it with same amount of fuel. My weight loss mods are not that obvious, except for the missing back seats. At my weight, your car would likely be another 3-4tenths faster...

I think I've done about all I can do, without removing seats and carpet/padding. First 250-300lbs is easy. after that, it gets tough. You have to really commit to not having much of a driveable streetcar...ie obnoxious.

Well the three things i listed above should get me close to another 100lbs. If I stop eating on the weekends that should be good for another 10lbs too. That would get me into the 3200lb range.
