That's just a painted factory Y-pipe. I'm getting this one in the next few days though:

It's one that Todd and the crew at EVOMS have developed that flows much more air than the factory piece.

What does this new piece cost?

Jags do you have the GT640 or 700, I thought you had the GT640? You really cannot use something like this, which then mates to a larger throttle body, on a GT640. You're maxing out the stock injectors as is so adding more flow/air and trying to eke out power wouldn't be safe Do the 700 first, then this stuff.

Ah yeah! Well bring her down then lol. We'll build that sucker up. Doing another motor build this month (top and bottom end) In terms of the engine do the cams as well. Really helps with the mid-range to counter the lag of the larger turbos

Oh for sure do it unless you already have the "modified" y-pipe and throttle body?

You won't be worrying about no Y-pipe at 800, that much I can confirm

So you would only suggest that y-pipe if I stay with the gtr700? What are the pros of the y-pipe with the gtr700 kit?

No sorry if I was being confusing I was under the impression that with your GT700 kit you already had EVO's modified Y-pipe and larger throttle body kit. Hence I was saying you may as well stick with what you already have. Sure the new y-pipe (when in production) will flow better and be a bit more beneficial but I was just saying that the choice between a y-pipe and 800, well you won't notice the y-pipe.

can you, or anyone else, expand on this? i'm sure it's been discussed before...

1st gear is over far too quick w/ the GT700 and a LWFW. i have to shift around 6k rpm or i will hit the rev limiter.

what have others done in this dept? (not that i really need to spend anymore money...)

RennTechV12,

Is your GT2 really confirmed as the world's fastest?

Just curious...

If it isn't, it's pretty damn close.

Based on the 6speed drag race standings, I haven't seen one that's faster.

Are there any out there that are confirmed faster? I don't know
