It 's a built engine package with race components that can't compare to Joe's bolt ons. Besides its only on paper.
How about the EDO Competition GT2-R? 7:15 at the 'Ring... I would think that would probably be the fastest GT2 derivative right now.
Also, PSI makes their own version of a GT2-R which has been raced by Rupert Lewin racing in England... 700bhp and full race trim.
There is also a Ruf GT2 with the 3.8L RT12 motor... that should be interesting too.
My humble GT2 will always be slow, but plenty fast for me.

The Rupert Lewin car is, the Ruf car is a street car, and the EDO Competition one is somewhere in between, as EDO sells that package to its customers. In my opinion, it is more race car than street car, but supposedly it's street legal... It's a pretty fast car nonetheless.
You can also buy the PSI tuning package as well. I think the EDO car is tuned by RS Tuning, the same people that tune for Jurgen Alzen. Their level of engine tuning is at the highest level, where the SECAN intercoolers alone run $20K.

It is time for GT700! BTW, would you like to see that roll cage installed in a Lapis Blue GT700 GT2?

EDITED TO ADD*****:
Just noticed this from their webiste:
FAHRDATEN
Beschleunigung von...
0 - 100 km/h in ca. 3,5 s
0 - 200 km/h in ca. 9,5 s
0 - 300 km/h in ca. 22,5 s
That's 0-124 in 9.5 seconds, I'm pretty much on par with that and my car has A/C, satellite radio, cruise control and comfortable seats and it can drive over a speedbump

More importantly if we want to compare horses and not driver skills, you need to correct for your faster 60ft of about -0.3 seconds (-0.6 seconds approx. in the quartermile), then the comparable time is 10.1s - 0.6s = 9.5s for the EDO vs. 10.7s. The weight plays a role against you of course, but it seems that this car has all of its 600 horses nevertheless! This engine is an RS Tuning engine, the same than the 540HP that runs at 1 BAr, only this one runs at 1.1-1.2 Bar.
There is still quite faster than this, with 3400lbs empty weight, 4WD , and 750FWHP.
You are still the fastest GT2 on 6Speed at least, and probably the US?Here is a picture of the same EDO in street colours, oh, and that wing is not for looks!
