Sorry to hear about your accident.... Glad you were not injured...

Good Luck

Were any tickets issued? Did the intersection have a stop light or sign?

Chris: Sorry man, glad you're OK. I feel similarly about my Lambo, when my spindle broke, I kind of lost faith in the car ... she let me down (even though I know **** happens, especially at the track).

I hope it's not too early to ask some questions. Did you have time to consider locking it up and hitting her sideways? Not sure this would have been better considering the airbag situation these days but I know how time slows down in situations like that and lots of things run through your head.

Wow, sorry to hear about this Chris. Looks like the car was clean too, bummer.

Doesn't look to me like the car is totaled. What you need to do is go after the other party's insurance company for DIMINISHED VALUE. Try to get some real transaction prices for untouched Turbos vs. previously damaged ones to argue your point. Also, an appraisal by a recognized company might be of value. Check out the following address or search for more like it for additional information: http://www.collisionclaims.com/diminishedvalue.html .

Like everyone else, I'm sorry to see that happen to your car. Unfortunately, it's not totalled. Looking at the impact, you were probably at the threshold of airbag deployment. It's really not that bad. You have a crinkle on your passenger fender at the door which means you definitely have some sway in the frame, but not a lot, and the tub might have gotten pushed in a little. This is all metal though, it bends one way, you bend it back. Your problem with the car will be more mental than physical. Bring it the the top tier shop in the area. When it's done, you shouldn't see any difference before and after. Good luck with everything.

Thats rough man. Sorry to hear it, but at least you are uninjured. I feel the same as you... if I get in an accident (or it gets stolen) I would want the car totaled. If not I would look into the diminished value and sell the car once fixed. Good luck.

Glad to see you are OK. A little info on how to get out of the vehicle. I did the same thing to a Viper. First make sure the most accurate estimate is made. Have take the nose off and make sure they look for any "frame" damage. DO NOT GO FOR A SALVAGE. The car is worth far more to a salvage company if the title is not branded. Take the estimate i.e. $35,000 and then get a couple of bids from guys who buy damaged cars and you will see that you will come out. PM me if you need more info.
