Jeez....they aren't kidding up there. Amazing ride until we passed the CHIP...far as I know everyone just got front plate fix-it tickets....1 guy was not so lucky but I'll let him tell you.

We turned back up the canyon, that's when he pulled us over....I got off easy with a fix it ticket, second one I've gotten..think I'm done with the no-front plate, too much of a pain.

You guys should ALWAYS get the CHP beat maps and schedule for the day of the runs!! Know where, when and how many your up against...I will be hanging out in LA for 3-4months out of the year...would love to get in on a fun Sunday drive...

Definately, I'm a complete rookie at this, didn't even know you could get those...truth be told I was on it hard (and just slightly sideways) about 10 seconds before he first spotted us and had just backed off...plain luck.

Hey feroz where did u guys go after? I gave qwkr and his girl a ride back to the burger place and then went to the restaurant about 11:15

I went this morning with the intention of a nice leisurely ride, but the guy I was following got on it, and I have had this thing for 3 months now and never really pushed it, couldn't resist the temptation....under those circumstances I doubt I'd do it again....I don't get lucky twice.

well it was good meeting you guys, but sheesh, the black & whites were in full force today and then me and Swami's flat tire yargh!!! Got seperated, too. Next time somebody needs to make a route map so even if we get seperated we can still meet up. You guys all have some really nice cars though. Were they all fix it tix? or did that 2 wheeled officer give someone a speeding ticket? BTW, here's the pix from today, it really was great meeting you guys! Next one will be better planned.

My favorite is the "leader of the pack" 85ish Ford Taurus. Notice the meant for business no hubcap on the rear wheel

glad you guys had some fun. sounds like it could have been worse. you also need to look out for locals and bicyclist the sabotage the roads with tire piercing debris. not fun. might want to take it PM next time.

Yeah they were out in full force today as well. But the debris wasn't the problem, it was the lack of tread that did Swami in

Yeah just CRAZY... Honestly to be honest...usually the cops dont care...they are there for the 400 bikes that pass by... its a normal sunday drive...

I am going to CHP tommorw and going to have that F$%KERS job... He didnt make mine a fix it ticket... WHAT AN A@@...

Seriously i usually have my front plate...the car just came out of the body shop and they took it off and lost the dam front kit... I told him... Even showed him the dam service invoice...

He took my girls License to cause she had a DUI and took it cause she is restricted to drive to and from work... I told the dam guy she is my assistant... and he was like... "I dont care. Its mine now"

Wish me luck tommorw boys i will own his ***...

Great run... Who owned the new 997 that was leading for awhile it was gun grey i think... MY GOD him and another turbo in front of me were really moving at first... My girl was screaming in the car we moved so dam fast...

Next time we will keep it low key... just pass the word out via PM and stuff

Wow that blows, sounds like that cop had a log shoved so far up his *** that you could see the bark through the whites of his eyes. That or he had a massive quota, because those should have both been fix it tix, nothing to impound a car over.
