yes, i have them, great stuff, but I have cracks on both disc needing replacement of course, I just wish they came in solid or slotted. If I replace them I will crack them again!! This is just taking the car to nurburgring and after each lap driving around to cool them

Thanks for the feedback.,dont quite understand what you meant-'they are great stuff but they crack??maybe you could better explain how it crack-was it due to insufficient cooling?did it crack after one lap around the 'Ring" or maybe its a combination of hot weather.Thanks.

I have been able to crack front disc on varies cars with different brands and have even tried changing braking techniques but to no avail. All of them were crossdrilled or cast. stock front 996tt brakes cracks formed , changed out to 350mm alcon front disc with original calipers...cracked and warped. then to these evo 's. No warpaged but cracks started propagating . These brakes are truely awesome with gt2 calipers and yellow pagids! I am trying to mod car to get more air to the brakes and will even cut out some of the splash guard. The cracking is (I don't believe) is fault with the brake disc just HEAVY usage, and cross drilled. I just wished I could replace these disc with solid disc with original hub hat. Only replacement is more crossdrilled.

all the rotors used on the track have "cracks" mine eveyones. the fact is how bad are the cracks. if they are less then 7mm dont go from hole to hole or dont go to the outside edge of the rotor then there is no need to worry. also brake cool down after track sessions is mandatory, never put on the e brake after a session. use castrol SRF fluid and some kind of ducts, I like the GT3 front cup ducts. It is VERY hard to warp these rotors, most who feel they have warped rotors just have pad material transfer.
I have also not found a "need" to upgrade the stock brakes they are fantastic! Just have the fluid and duct upgrade and use pagid orange.
good luck!

Thanks for sharing Tom,you have mentioned that sometimes the signs of a warp rotors are misleading but actually due to pad material transfer.?If that is the case, will cleaning the rotors help?

yes it will. you could even initially try several "hard" brakes from 90 to 40 and if it were just material transfer you could see a difference. if you are running stock pads this would however be less likely. Warped rotors however are damn near impossible on this car and these brakes are damn good! good luck!

We can get factory rotors for this fitment, it's a 1 piece version. They may last longer than the other versions, and are more cost effective.
