Craig, here in Chicago they have certain events that they allow cars to run without cages...... so you need to check into that..... trust me it's alot of fun and you should try it at least once...

Did it once, never again. My old car with 1100lb springs in the rear feels like it is falling to pieces. My time? 13s or so 
Good to see both cars progressing and almost done, we need some diversity from the GT700s. Craig, don't bother much about the quartermile, it is about how good and hard you launch it, just give it to one of the pros here, have them do one run, set the record, and then go drive it like it was meant to be...Oh, and take with you the AX22

I agree, Craig, regardless of your dragstrip ambitions, you may want
to seriously consider a cage. Porsche Techquipment or many other options
dependending on your back seat needs. Good luck on the rebuild,
we are all anxiously awaiting your announcement of a good running
daily driver SUPERCAR!

You should bring your car out next time Joe and the SECC club rent out the track. They have been known to look the other way when people have run times faster than their safety equipment is allowed to.
