I mistake the old 3 series for honda civics left and right

boston 7777 is on a distinguished road
I think the whole point of getting one of the first M5's is like being the first to get something new etc. If the car has a lot of problems, just get another one. ITs a car with a wonderful warranty from BMW.

Statistics can be like poorly controlled tests, with the right numbers you can have them appear to say anything you wish. Please don't believe Chris Bangle is HELPING BMW, regardless of what you may read.

Did someone say Beer and Girl?

My take> I think the new 5 is fugly, but if all the speculation relative to Mr. Bangle's departure proves true, there may very well be a 'refresh' soon relegating this M5 to a couple years' oddity. It would not take a lot to soften the 'flame' sides and bustle butt. Think 6 series coupe with four doors. I'm waiting for that one.
