Question Does the X50 have a different exhaust?

Does an X50 have a different exhaust then a stock 996TT?? I am looking at an X50 at the moment (yes another car ) and I am planning on doing a Fabspeed exhaust. My question is: if the exhaust is different is this basically like gettin rid of the X50?? Is it a bad idea??
Thanks in advance,
Evan
PS-God I hope I get a car soon

The x50 exhaust is different or at least it's a different part number. When i put Fabspeed on the car it a made a big difference.

Pull it! it has some different bafffling but it still carries almost double the back pressure of any of the aftermarket versions out there. Gains are to be had.

Thanks man, gotta get the car first, but if I do, Fabspeed bypass pipes here I come!! What is your opinion on the bypass pipes?? I know you know quite a bit(at least with exhausts ). I am not asking your opinion of the sound because I know its just all out loud, but for performance. Any reason not to do it??
Thanks,
Evan

Yes, I think they will crack the tiles on the roofs around there. They really do add good power. Ask Alex

Always a pleasure. Who else is nuts enough to take apart his own car.

I have access to TechArt. I am not a direct dealer, but a reseller.

Ok so you probably cannot beat the price of a direct retailer?? Honestly I think I can get the kit around 30% off retail. Does this sound good?? Also how much do you think paint and install is on the full kit ( I have no idea)??
Thanks,
Evan

I can try, but no promises. I will check in the morning.

Figure several thousand to prep paint and install the parts. Even though it is good stuff ALL GLASS fits like shocks on a rooster.

that's very true! (above comment)

you dont want an exhausts too loud!
too much attention ..........Cops!!!
I got ticketed twice in 6 months after I installed the TechArt exhausts!
sometime I regret putting them in.....
but what can I say.... its on the car already!
