The quarter mile and autocross was done in May and June of last year. I couldn't believe how long it took. When it didn't go to press in November, December or February, I began to doubt if they were ever going to publish it.

No sharkster, they did not mention these tests were performed in May and June of 2003.

Doh! Ah well it's still cool what you ran at that track that day and under those conditions and down on power etc... Also, that's the thing with drag racing, it's so hard and frustrating. Unless all the moons are aligned something always isn't right. Hence I'm trying to give up that addiction lol
All in all, Dave Colman did a great job.

great article. the commitment to speed and power was impressive. but i think you are selling yourself, the tuners and the car short by only running 0-60 and 1/4 mile. with all that power i would like to see 0-150 or 0-175 times. do 100-150 roll ons. at the end of the article there is a reference of dollars spent to lower the 1/4 mile time 1 second, if those same dollars dropped the 0-150 times by 7 seconds it starts to look like a better deal.
