We can always count on the media to give all the low life trash "how to instructions" or a place that they can find them to the latest scam/crime....

Just like how they posted internet sites where anyone could find instructions on how to make bombs after the OKC Federal building bombing.

"A couple of the plastic clip fittings were damaged on each one. The passenger side light has scratches on the lens and a small chip at the tip of the plastic lens."

"The previous owner stated that he is a mechanic and the porsche that these lights came from was damaged on the garage property. I was told that these lights were replaced with new ones and he was selling the discarded ones. As one is scratched and both are damaged, I believe that to be true. I was not aware that these are popular items for thieves and would not want to sell these unless they were damaged and would not promote crime. They are AS-IS, NO RETURN items and not stolen, to the best of my knowledge. Please bid accordingly."

WHATEVER!

Check out the bid history. The highest bidder only has four feedbacks and the rest have zero. Looks to me he's making up bidders to raise the current bid trying to fake people out so they have to bid higher. Looks like a scum soup brewing!

I also sent a letter to the guy a few days ago about this and he looks like he read it and put in the little add-on after that.

Kind of funny how this guy refers to them as "pulled" rather than "removed" from the vehicle. If they were "pulled" properly why were clips damaged?

I love that radios are code and "theft" protected. But a pair of headlights ($2k for the pair) take about the same time to take off as a set of hubcaps, and are as traceable as a can of coke, is ridiculous. In the meantime, don't expect Porsche to do something for another 2 years. They'd like to make some money off of this for a little while longer anyways!
In New York it's too common to see Maximas with no headlights and a little dimple on the hood from the screwdriver pry marks. I also read somewhere that Acura lights (fitting Accords) are also "in demand"
