Tint shop in SF bay area?

Has anyone used a local tint shop which does good work on the SF peninsula?

One friend suggested a small shop on Marsh Road between 101 and Middlefield.

Any other suggestions, tint materials/mfgs to avoid?

Thanks,
Chris

My mother-in-law was staying with us for a few weeks,
(don't worry, she's gone now ). She had good luck with
"All That Hair" in Orinda. She'd go once a week to keep those
grey roots from showing under the pink.
Glad to help, but isn't this a bit OT?
Joe

I had my windows tinted at the Auto Mall Tint Factory in Fremont. It's near the Fremont Automall. I had all the windows done in Huper Optik 50% Ceramic Tint. It contains no metals that can sometimes interfere with Radar and cell reception. Although I never had an issue with my old tint on my old car...

No probs. The guy that owns the place did a good job on it. I can show you at the meet. I went pretty dark all the way around. He owns a 993 TT (silver) but sometimes I do worry about some of the kids that do the work there. I've been back a few times with friends cars and they're a bit ghetto.. even for me Kids today...

I know this is an old post, but I'd like to ask the same question and see if there are any other/new local places recommended for quality tint work.

Go with Mr. Tint, they do a great job. Even if their operation does seem a little ghetto. I had my first car done there and recommended all friends to them. Price for 2 door should be around $300, or less, depending on what kind of material.

Don’t take it to some random place, I took my second car to a place where Mr. Tint used to be, the new place was ran by one guy, anyway, when I went to pick up the car, there was a scratch on the trunk, and there really isn’t anything I could do about it, 2 days out of the dealership and I got a scratch, it sucked. But the car did look better with tint.

Front is illegal, but I wanted the look. Cops don’t really care all that much.

Is that Polarized and UV rated?

I heard your cell phone can interfere with the radar. Which one are you gonna turn off?
