So that 05 was going for what, 82k? Its confusing reading all of the numbers together. I know GT2's are rare and most likely they wouldnt be on Manheim, but any way you can check for me?
Thanks alot!

Like I said these cars are COMING DOWN.
I have a good friend of mine just bought a 2007 997TT last week. He has a 2006 Carrera S with a $116,000 MSRP, 5K miles 6 speed, PCCB, X51, G. Red, Dark Nat. Brown, Sport Chrono... The dealer was going to give him $65,000 for trade - in. He said he was going to keep it for that price.
I almost bought a 2005 Turbo S Cab a few weeks ago with 3K miles for $92,000 from a private party. Keep your eyes open, winter is coming up and people like to unload these type of cars soon....

Thanks.
Manheim auction prices are mostly of academic value and not particularly relevant to the buying public.
These are prices at which dealers pick up cars regardless of what condition they are in, hence the rock bottom valuations. Dealers then have to thoroughly inpect the car and perform any reconditioning etc. to get the car to a "ready to sell" state which may cost several thousands on high end cars. Not to mention the cost of additional certification or extended warranty. When these dealer then sell the cars to the public they have to factor in all these costs plus auction fees, transportation, financing fees, establishment fees, etc. and finally, lest we forget, their own profit!
So rest assured that they're not selling these cars for anywhere near those prices!
