996 Turbo / GT2 Turbo discussion on previous model 2000-2005 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and 911 GT2.

Looks like the 996 TT is hitting rock bottom prices...

I just sold my 04 TT Cab with 6,800 to a local dealer for $93,000 no questions asked. It was clean but needed the front bumber sprayed as the former owner screwed it up when they sprayed it and needed tires. Hope to be a P Car TT owner again in the next couple of months.

That price sounds awfully high? Was it part of a trade? If not, I'd say that's a really good deal for you!

No, straight sell to them. ZERO hassle too! That is a car in demand. Cabs in California are popular and it was a good time of year. They will fix bumper for cheap, throw some new tires on it, certify it, sell it for full retail and make a boat load I am sure!

Not to mention the cost of additional certification or extended warranty. When these dealer then sell the cars to the public they have to factor in all these costs plus auction fees, transportation, financing fees, establishment fees, etc. and finally, lest we forget, their own profit! So rest assured that they're not selling these cars for anywhere near those prices!
Good post and so true.

People get way to bent out of shape over Manheim prices..

Almost every car I have owned I lost money. Unless its a F40 or a special car you are gonna loose money. Is it really lost money? To me its not. Just drive the damm thing and when your done buy a newer one. If you are concerned about loosing money or prices tanking maybe you should stick with a Kia. Thats my 2 cents.

That is one of the best deals I have seen for an 03 with that low of miles. Nice work!

I just got my 02 996TT for $69,800 with aftermarket wheels, a two year warranty and only 6,300 miles. Thought that I got a decent deal.

Thanks,

Kevin

that's a great deal. By the way, expect at letter from the lawyers at porsche soon. If you register anything with porsche, or 911turbo in it, they threaten a huge lawsuit. You will get a letter soon about www.porschemessageboard.com.
