Brake for TT ... brembo or Evo???

Track is definitively hard for brake... I made 9 events this summer (4/6 days per month).
At the end of each session, my brake and my oil fluid was very hot! Last june, I change my brake fluid for racing brake fluid and I put yellow pad. But I think this is not enough.... still have problems with my brake. Am I to hard on brake??? (one set of pad every 3 events :15 days of track)
So....I'm looking for an other possibility: upgrade my brake. any suggestion??
I use my car on street and on track...
(Sorry for my english.... better in french! )

I run the pagid oranges (yellows are fine also) I also use castrol SRF fluid and have GT3 front cup ducts and rear GT2 ducts.
I think the higher boiling point fluid and ducts help alot. By the end of the secnod track day in a row my pedal will get somewhat soft but still full brakes.
Also tracks with longer straights let the brakes cool more.
If you have tried the above and still problems I would be suprised. I run with 4 other TT's and no one has brake upgrades.
Also next level of upgrade is very expensive.
good luck!!

three choices if u got the $$$ PCCB if not brembo's, or the bad *** brembo gtr brakes

i went with brembo's .. a few weeks back i drove a Modded TT with stock brakes.. and it felt scary for me.. pedal feel and gripping power wasnt not as good as the 4 piston brembos

im running 4 piston brembo's with 15 in rotors in front

back has 4 piston brembo's with 14in rotors

caliber's were custom colored ala GTR brakes..

if you are curious about weight savings.. we actually weighed them and here are the results:

STOCK:
front stock rotor 13'' - 22.4lbs
front stock caliper - 10.2lbs

rear stock rotor 13'' - 19.2lbs
rear stock caliper - 8lbs

BREMBOS:
front brembo rotor 15'' - 19.0lbs
front brembo caliper - 10lbs

rear brembo rotor 14'' - 18.4lbs
rear brembo caliper - 10lbs

total weight saving:

front - 3.6lbs per corner 7.2lbs per axle

rear - +1.2lbs per corner +2.4 per axle

the fronts are actually lighter than oem.. and also there is a +2in inc. in rotor size

while the rear bec more heavy it is still not bad bec. theere is a +1in inc. in rotor size..

You are so right Joe.. My GTR's are something else man... Going back to stock is scary on higher HP cars. However most people would have you believe that "stock" can't be bettered.....

4 piston or 4 pads? and do they fit behind an 18 inch wheel or do you have to go to a 19 inch??
how are the PCCB's compared to the brembos? Is the rear upgrade necessary?
thanks

Tom we've compared/test and gone to shoot outs with PCCBs vs the Brembo GTR kits and the later always wins.... Always. They are super light as well although the rotors are obviously heavier than PPCBs. There are certain 18 inch rims that fit over the GTRs as well.

4 pistons sorry if i didnt clarify if u have the 14in rotors you can use 18in wheels w/o a problem , i hav ea 15in rotor in front so i have to use a 19in wheel

the tru test is if the new 6piston brakes fit an 18in wheel!

Joe, I know you are referring to my car. I would like to drive your car sometime to feel the difference. I have 18" wheels, so I would not be able to get the 15" rotors. My brakes do not feel scary to me one bit. Maybe it is just a matter of applying more pedel pressure with my brakes that you are not use to. I do not track my car, and never over heated my brakes.

Only if you have the brembo gtr lemans cailper.
If you have brembo gt kit with a 15" rotor and a 4-piston caliper, these won´t fit under ANY 18" wheels.
