Our engine burn quart of oil about every 1k was normal. But you mention oil change in 1500 miles ago. Burn to oil level low warning light was too fast. I will suggest refill oil to mid point level right now and keep check the oil level.

Run it one line over the min mark. This is safe. It is not the end of the world to be several quarts low in a dry sump system. I will not tell you what these motors will live on as far as oil, but keeping it one line up over the min is more than fine.

I can't say names nor locations but I know an "ARS"#$E" (Head Tech @ a dealer) who ran the engine dry to claim a new engine from the factory as the client wanted the car but beause the car had 60000miles he said he'd only buy the car id it had an new ngine...and voilá! I got seasick (honest!!! I really did) when I heard the story. It sounded like a SNUFF, they even told me the engine idled for 15min before shutting down (i.e. dieing)

In Turbo cars, it's important to let the engine idle for a bit after harsh or fast driving expecially in hot conditions. You are baking oil fed into the Turbo lines if you don't, this process over time will limit the amount of flow through these lines and eventually kill the Turbo. I've replaced a few Turbos in my time and I've seen this a couple of times first hand.
This baking in the lines will cause you to loose more oil than a NA.

So wait, when the check oil level light comes on, its not that its low on oil , and how many quarts are still int he car at that time! Its odd because when it comes on, i add a quart and it goes up a few bars, meaning there's still prob. alot of oil still left, just as a safety thing right?
