Hey Guys!

What wheels/tires do you guys run for the winter?

I already have 225-40ZR18 and 265-35ZR18 snow tires but I need the rims now. It's actually been so long that I think I acutally forgot which rims/offsets will work for my car. I think I need 8*18 and 10*18 wheels.

Any suggestions on wheels? or where to get a good deal?
Thanks

Jason

When i bought my TT, it comes with a set of 8 X 18" ,10 X18 wrap with 225/265 winter tires. I'm not sure about the offset but they need 23mm spacer at rear. It fit good and run great in winter.

17's wont fit on the C4S, Turbo or the GT2 only 18" or higher. i Just bought some OEM Turbo Twist II, 8" & 11" for $900USD, i'm going to wrap em in 295/35/18 and 235/40/18 Perelli Snowsport 240 for the winter.

PS: Perelli is the only company that makes 295 winter tires that i know of, maybe Bridgestone too...

where can i get the 295 winter tires? i think i asked tirerack and they said they don't make any winter tires wider than 265... yah, that would make my life alot easier by just getting 295 winter tires... i could use the rims i have now..

oh man.. that was ez =) a lot easier than finding stupid rims... how do you think 295 snow tires will work in the snow?? anybody crazy enough to cry that? i'm afraid it's going to be like a snow sled.. hehe... i run 255/55/18 in my ML55 in the winter and i have to say... i slide around A LOT.. hehe...

hm.. the dilemma now... two prielli winter 240 snowsport $276*2 = $552.00
4 turbo replica rims on ebay $549.00...

which one do i do?!?!? ahhhhhhhhhhh...

Stock 18" hollow spokes have worked great for me for 4 years on the same tire sizes you have in your original post - I have been running the Dunlop Winter Sports for this period - does anyone know of the latest and greatest recommendation (on mfg'r and model tire) from the factory???
