19" Wheels for 996TT

I picked up last night an excellent condition Silver 2001 996TT, 6 spd with all options including Nav. Car is totally stock and I will be adding some mods, starting with wheels. Techart, Fiske, HRE, Kinesis wheels are beautiful but pricey. Anyone have experience with some of the lesser priced wheels such as Iforge, Work, ForgeLite (manufactured I believe by NR Auto in Sherman Oaks, Ca.)? Victor Equipment makes some nice looking wheels but they are so cheap that I'm very concerned about their quality. My turbo will be a weekend only car, no tracking it. Any input on these or other lower end wheels would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'd definetly go for the Tech Art, as they are great wheels... they are a bit on the heavy side, but since you said the car is used on the weekends and no tracking, these would be great...

Welcome aboard! You will found many members running iforged here. Beautiful wheels and they have no issue with them. You can check with Dan from vividracing. I believe he is doing a groupbuy for iforged wheels. Beside, if you don't mind for uesd wheels, keep your eyes on the for sales section, usually there will be couple sets of HRE, TA for very good price.

I vote for iForged. Same looks and weight as others which cost way more. Go hit up Dan @ vivid for the lowest $$$$

Would you be interested in a set of nearly new HRE 843 for sale? shod with the elusive 315/25 yokos great street tire. If interested PM me for details. You can see some pics of the wheels by linking to my site in my sig. I have too many wheels and hardly use this set.

Oak:

Your car looks nice. What price are you asking? I asssume they are 19" and what are the widths? Where are you located?

Thanks.

Thanks for all of the replies. I think I've narrowed my choice down to Iforge - they have so many good wheels to choose from.
