There is a new 2004 Speed Yellow at Suncoast, Fl. Ask for Tom Towles. I have bought several cars from them. Nice people.
I was going to buy it myself but I came across a 2003 GT2 SY with 2600 miles with really nice options and 19" Champion RG5 wheels, short shift, and certified extendened warrentee

There are 2 GT2s in Symbolic Motors, La Jolla, CA (San Diego), a silver one, and a dark blue, with nearly 600 hp (every engine mod available from porsche, but still under warranty)

What factory engine mods are available for the GT2?

thanks on the 04's; the symbolic cars are not 04's.

the question is since i can buy a new 03 for 145 and upgrade, is is really worth waiting for 04's to slide. the fact that 3 are sitting on the floor is GOOD -- VERY GOOD.... for vulture buyers.

the GT3 is an amazing car, i doubt i'm much faster on the track or in the canyons where i live with a gt2. but for hillclimbimg its better. GT3 definitely handles better and is MUCH faster on bumpy curves. my hypothesis is that 04 gt2 handles as well as 04 gt3.

the symbolic cobalt has some cheap mod.s which is why it's sitting.. ask tyson -- hamann about them.

dealer cars are always more, but even they are high 140's in places.

steve,

i knew you were mentioning an 04, thanks. hey i just bought a prefect 97 993TT for, shall we say alot less, with 22K miles. i dont think you have to pay a dealer on those cars altho' they are hard to find private. what colours do you want and i'll keep my eye out.

i offered 180 on a blk 04 gt2 and dealers arent there yet... the cars need to sit another few months. i dont think they're even worth 180 vs an 03 for 145. by october, we may see those 04's at 160.
