Best Tuner in New England...???

I live in boston,

Do any of you know if there is a reputable car workshop/tuner here in New England (preferably in Mass) that specializes in Porsches or exotics.

Need a place I can trust to tune/mod my car.

Thanks

I want to touch on basic areas of the car: Sound system, suspension, body work (bodykit - replacement parts), wheels, exhaust, ECU etc.

Nothing too complicated.

I'm assuming you're saying that there are certain workshops specialize in certain kinds of work. In that case please list the best in each area. Otherwise if there is one place that can handle all that work and is reputable and trustworthy I'd prefer that, (although i'm probably not likely to find one in mass). I don't want to give my car to just any place...

Ramone,

KTR in Ayer, MA does dyno tuning, sells EVO, etc. They have a Dyno Dynamics 4WD dyno. I have never been there, but heard good things. Here's a link: http://www.ktrperformance.com/

Also, give Jerry a call at EPE in Natick. Not sure what he does for 996TT tuning, but he preps a lot of cup cars and probably has done some 996TT upgrades, as well.. http://www.epe.com/

Body work, sound, wheels, exhaust: Http://www.autodesignhaus.com
they do all the custom mods for the local Sports Players (Sox, celtics, etc...) gangsters, and ballers....feel free to drop my name there.

Also check out http://www.autobahnperformance.com/contact.htm, they have a few cup cars they maintain, etc...but are primarily a VW Audi shop, if for no other reason besides the greater number of these cars in this area.

You can also try:
http://www.rensport.com/
http://www.eurotechracecars.com/home.html
most of the local porche shops specialize in older aircooled 911's though...but I'm sure they are fully competent to do 996 work. They are just not 996TT specialst tuners like Evo, protomotive, IA, etc...

Also, a trip to CT to Farnbacher might be in order as well:
http://farnbacherloles.com/st/ if you are looking for any hardcore suspension or motor work.

Don't go to Farnbacher Loles I'm an activist against them. They don't put the time of day into anyone thats not a race car. They blew me off so much it was rediculous. If you want work done and want a specific Evo Dealer go to RPM racing in Long Island, NY. If you rlooking for an all out nasty shop to do work quick and thorough then check out www.icsperformance.com. good luck!

Oh and guys please tell Farnbacher I talk **** cause I hate them and it makes me laugh to know, they know I hate them!

If you're living in Boston I would contact Jerry @ EPE in Natick. I don't think you will find anyone in New England with more experience working, tuning and prepping the model 996 & TT.

ramone-

I have to plug a new shop as well.

Marc Feinstein has opened a shop in Cambridge called German Performance Service. Marc is the race engineer for BMW tuner Turner Motorsport. If you follow Grand Am Cup and Speedvision WC, then you will know of their success. They have won Championships in both series.

Marc has opened his own shop specailizing in BMW and Porsche. Marc is a suspension expert and very familiar with Porsche's design philosophy.

He is also our newest dealer in Boston. He will be carrying our entire line of products and will have access to G.I.A.C software through us.

It may be worth your time to stop by and check him out.

ATTN: MARC FEINSTEIN
26 NEW ST.
CAMBRIDGE, MA 02138

Hope this helps with your search for a competant shop.
