I drove Lou's car when it was stage 1 I think (thanks Lou). It did exactly what he said. Pulled much earlier and continued with just stage 1. It was a surprising difference. That is why I can't what to go to Stage 4GTR ... cause ... Damn!
It is stage 2, which is the exact same programming from what I understand to stage 1. The difference is that in stage 2, youy incorporate an exhaust (25hp)

LSM,
I have a stage 1 and was comsidering upgrading to stage 2. Stephen said I had to send my ECU back for reprogramming to get maximal benefit from the new exhaust.

I am not trying to confuse the issue. I have a stage 2 chip. I simpoly bought my own exhaust to go with the stage 2 chip. When I asked if the stage 1 and stage 2 differed, I was told it was basically the same. That is the information I wanted to pass on. If that is not the case, Stephen knows better than I would. Again, I have the stage 2 chip and programming.

That " other car " was mine and each time I jumped many car lengths ahead of John immediately and kept pulling away until traffic. Now that he has the Upsolute AND an exhaust , I suspect he will pull ME esp at higher RPMs ! Hope to hear your TechArt pipes soon .
Hey Milt, I'm ready for a rematch.

Seriously, thanks for showing me the Upsolute power and letting me drive your car.

Copied and pasted from EVOMS.com:

EVO Billet Diverter Valves: Our direct replacement diverter valves will eliminate the notorious "Honking" sound commonly heard when the OEM valves have failed. Our valves will restore lost power and will hold more boost pressure than the stock units for added performance. In addition, they “recover” quicker than the OEM valves which allows better spool up after shifts. We designed our valves with a 90 degree vacuum port which allows for additional vacuum line clearance and a trouble free installation. The EVO billet diverter valve for the 996TT / X50 / GT2 comes as a complete kit and carries our exclusive lifetime warranty.

CNC Precision Machined Billet Aluminum
Optional “swivel” 90 Degree Vacuum Port for the Limited Space 996TT Application
Internal Components Lubricated with RED LINE High Temperature Synthetic Grease for a Lifetime of Trouble Free Use
Dual Viton O-Rings for an Unmatched Seal Around the Piston
Direct Replacement for OEM Valve
Will Not Leak Boost and Eliminates the "Honking" Sound
"Recovers" Quicker for Better Boost Response
Available Anodized Black or Polished (As Pictured)
Lifetime Warranty
