Let me put it to you this way -- if Tyson, who always was a fan of the GT2 but used to give me and Watt a healthy dose of 'but you can mod a Turbo...' has now become a convert -- then the GT2 must be all that and a bag of chips.

And it is. It is the car I miss the most of my ex's

You guys SUCK!! Damn!

So what's up with the 477hp GT2's - what model year is that? The '03's I have seen are still 456hp, but the Porsche website shows GT2 at 477, so it that an '04 model year or 2nd half of '03?

Those are the '04 with a reprogrammed ECU from the factory. That is probaley the only change I would personally make to an 02. It wouldn't detract from the value. The car still has plenty of power either way.

if it is just reprogrammed, then one could feasibly get an '02 or '03 and have it reprogrammed and save some bank.

I find it funny that the Porsche website says the GT2 is a '4 seater'. Ha.

Exactly, with respect to the ECU. Where do they call it a 4 seater, there are stickers on the back of the sport seats saying exactly the opposite?

CodeRed, I have actually been talking to Cary Eisenlohr about my suspension. I let him drive it a bit over the weekend, and we will be changing some links in the suspension to make it more adjustable and handle a bit better.

Then phase 2 will be JRZ's or something like that.

He is the master of suspension engineering. I will let you know the results after he fine tunes it in the next month or two.

2nd gear powerslides are fun. 3rd gear corner drifts are a hoot too.

From the Porsche US website: "Rear-mounted, twin turbo, 3.6 liters, 6 cylinder, rear-wheel drive, 4-seater, coupe "
