Shift Lights - Another Option

You may want to also consider the Racepak G2X data acquisition set-up; multiple color shift lights, mph, revs, lap timer, etc. Highly recommended and the lights are very bright (and light up progressively). Different shift points with associated lighting can also be setup.

Here's the picture of the smaller display I fabricated - even at this size it is extremely bright in full daylight and is perfect at night.
Bringing this thread back to life.
I'm about tired of taking my eyes off the road to spot the tac for shifting during hard driving. This raptor unit interests me, thinking of installing it in the drivers side AC vent or just above on the dash, don't want to ruin the interior look. Anyone with recent experience with this unit or something else? I want a small light, that's it. Thanks.

The Raptor works fine, however, I switched to the Eliptech progressive style - it works great to telegraph the rev limiter...very happy with this unit!

Same one mention by John, got the Ecliptech, really happy about it. The company is located in Australia but fast shipping and very good customer care…I had to exchange the round one for a flat one and got no problem at all...https://ecliptech.com.au

I like the look of this unit...did you get the flat base style or curved? Also, how is it secured?

Thanks

My exact question...Flat our rounded bottom?

Thanks John (SPEEDTECH) for everything you have done for me!! Once I have a minute to breathe I will be posting about how incredible Speedtech / John has been with my issues, questions (at all sorts of crazy hours), etc. The customer service has been unreal!

Sorry but I think I could answer the question for John. The flat one fits perfectly and they supply strips of velcro to hold it. It is very light and velcro is sufficient to hold it...

Nice unit. What is involved to get it wired up?
