i wish i had known all of this....my battery on my '03 turbo died this summer(still under warranty) and i paid a dealership to ship a new OEM battery to me dry(i live in the middle of nowhere) and then I had to go and buy the battery acid at Autozone

 

I just installed a diesel generator for my house and even though the battery looked ready to go, I also had to go by the acid. The guy at Auto Barn gave me some mumblings about how the acid is "regulated" and "what was I going to use it for". Now I could see if I was a kid or even looked really young or possibly even a "terrorist type". After i told him what it was for and he saw my cart had gallons of antifreeze and diesel engine oil he figured I was OK.
