Europipe installation
Just ordered a Europipe Stage 2 (loud) to be delivered next Tuesday. I am fairly mechanically inclined and have worked with my hands most of my life. However, I'm 54 and not real sure I want to wrestle with that Exhaust, in my garage, on jacks. Is it a piece of cake to install or should I just say screw it and take it to the dealer. I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

While the protocol for removing/installing the exhaust may be simple, you must keep in mind that both the stock and the Europipe exhaust units are 50+ pounds.
Are you planning on using a lift or jack stands? Wrestling the exhaust while on your back with the car on jack stands will not be the most pleasant experience.
Will you have a partner to assist you?

No, I was planning to do it alone. I wasn't too concerned about exhaust weight ( maybe I should be LOL). I was concerned about the difficulty in disconnecting the O2 and lambda connectors and unclipping the sensor wires. I am getting impatient in my old age and I don't know how long I can lay under the car to screw with it to be honest.
The wires for the sensors for each side should have different colors. The pre-cat Lambda sensor should be blue or green or something like that. The post-cat O2 sensor should have black wiring. That's how it was on my GT3

Do you mean that whatever order that I disassemble the sensors that they have to go back togrther in the exact reverse order? Also, I have never actually traced the sensor wires into the engine compartment. Can I easily access this end or is it easier to just remove sensors below and then let them dangle while I install new system?
I installed my Europipe II loud about 6 months ago. I love it in the morning on those cold starts. It is music to my ears. After it settles down the sound is sweet and provides just the right tone to keep the true Porsche sound with just a little growl.
My PSS-9 is my favorite mod because it simply takes the car to another level. But a not too distant second is the Europipe.
Stage 2 is great but how fast can you really go. Too many loons on the road here in N. Cal.
Enjoy you Europipe... you made a wise choice.
