Hey guys,

I had been back and forth between the GIAC flash and the Upsolute. Dan at Vivid was awesome to talk to yesterday......and then convenience took over. I had the car at Brandywine Porsche to have the short shifter done, and I had the GIAC flash done while it was there. All I can say is Holy ****!!!!!! Its an amazing difference. I can't compare GIAC with Upsolute, but my car drives totally different. I saw 1.0 bar with no problem in 3rd gear, and it just pulls and pulls. With the short shifter and the flash done today, I did't even want to park the car tonight.

Thanks to all for their input on the shifter and the flash.....this site is great.

 

Good stuff Kevin.. the SSK makes a huge different in terms of feel/driveability. I hate the stock shifter mechanism. On the flash you are right, 1bar and a LOT more power Welcome to the club of modaholics!

Congrats, got mine flashed few months ago as well. Feels like a new car. I went with GIAC because of the flash loader.

 

I went with it becasue of the non warranty issue/ I just felt that if there was a problem, becuase the dealer installed it, I would still be covered. If I went with another brand, they could blame anything that went wrong with the car on it.
