Clear Bra Installers in Houston?

It looks like I will be picking up my new (to me...car is 2002 w/ 2800 miles) GT2 at the end of this week. EDIT: Got her last night!!!

The car has a very special aftermarket paint job (about 2 steps better than the OEM....it is incredible) that I want to protect at all costs. I will be doing a lot of highway runs. The inconsiderate truckers here love to clog up the fast lane, so I will need lots of rock deflection. Should I do the whole hood?

Any advice/suggestions will be appreciated.

Texas 996 TT is infamous around these parts
I talked to Formula Tinting next to Bubbles Car Wash on Westheimer, they seem somewhat knowledgable but havent taken my car in yet. Let me know where you took your car and if it their work is acceptable..

Texas T (get it...lol),

I took my G35 to a tinting place (can't recall the name) on Murphy at 59. Their work was acceptable and fairly priced ($580). However, for my GT2 I am looking for excellent.

I will keep you posted....anyone else?

I've heard that Executive Motoring , 713-780-8000, is top notch. They're off of Hillcroft and Richmond. Contact person is Renee.

Different subject:

When are all of us Houston 6speed members getting together? I would be happy to have you all over to my place if you are willing to drive to The Woodlands. I can arrange a fun run through some twisties (and even some hills) near here. What do you guys think?

Chris

As should be clear from my sig, Daddy has her now....Yehaaaaw!!!

I am still afraid to run her in high boost. I keep breaking the tires loose at just 500 whp (low boost).

I have another question? How much of the car should I wrap in the clear bra? The entire hood? This car is so beautiful, I am tempted to do the whole car.

Congrats..it took me a month to get use to the power (and rear engine config at STOCK boost.) I had to work my way up to the stage iv. I wonder if my race gas program has the same power as your low boost? If it does, be CAREFUL of the 1-2 shift at redline (especially if your next to a murcielago because you may be in his lane), don't lift when turning, and make sure your rear tires are have A LOT of meat left. Other than that, enjoy.
