The Turbo begins its production every 8 years. Why would they come out with this. Its a hoax.

The 997 will have a C2, C2s, and C2s cab. The 998 Will introduce the Turbo at 2008.

Do not expect to see a turbo until 2008.

Shank, your logic is correct but a good source on another forum claims 2006, only time will tell. In addition new 997 is said to debut at Paris in september.

IMHO, why introduce a 997TT with only 30 extra HP and cosmetic changes and then introduce a 998TT with a completely different engine shortly thereafter?

It just doesnt make much sense to me. For 30 extra HP...I seriously doubt many current 996TT owners are going to trade up for a 997TT? Now bring in that 8cylinder biturbo and I bet 90% of the 996TT market will upgrade.

I spoke to my dealer about the 997TT and he was skeptical about production and if they were even going to introduce it.

Just my 2 cents....

Called your dealer? You must be joking. I thought you were done with high-end for a while. Tired of the Elise already? Hey Rave, you wanna buy a slightly used 997 Turbo from Dr. Bill? This time I want $ to broker and not just dinner.

Those are old pics and not close enough to a final product to make a judgment on yet.
