So who ports and polishes stock headers?
Thinking of getting my stock headers ported and polished. Whats it cost and who does it? I am not sure if I will do this right now cause I am trying to buy some new turbos

Depends what other mods you do/don't have. The first few things you should already have before doing anything like that would be:
1)Chip tuning
2)Exhaust
3)Diverter Valves
4)SSK
Then a few other things here and there and then maybe worry about the headers...

imho, it's a waste of time unless you have mucho time on your hands. you would fair much more results if you ported the exhaust ports on the head. too much work for no gain, port the other side.
think about it, as the exhaust gases pass through the ports on the heads the it's flow is limited to the size and shape of the ports in the heads. the factory header tubes are flared past the flange to open up a chamber between the ports and turbo where the gases collect. also the factory header flanges are fairly closely matched by making them larger than the ports on the heads is imho a waste of time. a psychological advantage if that.

Its all about velocity.... Stock headers are said to be great.... port them well and u will see the difference.... I know first hand...
Divirextreme is the fastest 6speed member running 10.6 @ a whopping 136 mph on stock motor...HE IS ON STOCK HEADERS my friends... stop fooling yourselves.... When you go up to 650+ hp one may consider aftermarket headers...
just my opinion.

If you have your turbos off this is a worth while mod. The gains will be seen mostly in spool up and slightly in overall HP.
If you are willing to remove the turbos, send them to Protomotive and have the larger 18g compressors installed. Combine this with his program and you will have less lag than your current K24's and waaaay more HP.
