Tell him to talk to someone higher up, maybe he can split you the cost to do the paperwork then you can pay for the CPO
Any 6speeders know a dealer in the NY area that would be amenable? The owner called his local NY dealer and they said no.

I have a Platinum level aftermarket warranty from a company called Millenium (they may have changed the name) that came with my 01. My only experience trying to actually use the warranty was when I looked into having my 2nd gear pop-out repaired. I was told that I need to bring it to any licensed technician have them tear down the tranny so they could send someone there to inspect the faulty parts for abuse. If they decide that the car was abused, I would have to pay for everything. If they decided that it wasn't abused, they would take the most economical coarse of action, meaning, they would shop around for refurbs and spare parts to eleviate the symptoms. This was not acceptable so I did nothing... My warranty is almost expired and I would like know what are some of the better after market warranties out there...?
