GT-R V SPEC II $95,000

For 95 grand I would buy another car... especially since they are all right hand drive cars.

There are other chanels to import those cars other than motorex. Motorex is a huge rip-off in my opinion and you can get a nice R34 GT-R V-spec in the country for only about $5,000 over the cost of the car, it just takes some careful research and some cleverness on your part. If you want zero hassles and don't mind paying the extra money, then go with Motorex, but IMHO those cars aren't worth $95K. I personally plan on importing an R-33 GTR within the next couple of years depending on where I study abroad.

I kinda like that they only come right hand drive. This won't be my only car and for a weekend car, right hand drive is kinda cool. White with the aero kit, gold wheels, lots of engine mods and a racing roll cage. Thanks for the heads up on other importers, I'll check into it.

Harry,

That ricemobile is actually pretty cool. Lots of tuning options.

But Jesus, stop messing around and just get a GT2 or GT3. Although the Skyline is a cool car, at the end of the day, it still looks and feels like a Nissan Silvia.

I'd get the R34, they (32, 33 and 34) all have the same engine and the R34 looks the nicest and is also the newest.

You can't really go wrong with any of the three though

You can get "special" permits, but you are limited on mileage and where you can drive. Just getting them through customs becomes a chore. One of my good friends bought a '94 R-32 from Motorex and loves the car. I can put you guys in touch with him if you have any questions. Ironically, he is thinking about selling his R-32 and buying a 964 3.6L turbo. Go figure.
Yeah, what I'm talking about is legal and makes the car 50-state road legal just like Motorex. Like I said, if you want no hassles pay Motorex and be done with it. All I was implying was that If you aren't willing to pay the shaft-me-in-the-*** price they're asking there are cheaper alternatives that work just as well. The gyst of it is that you need to form a relationship with a good customs broker who knows what he's doing.

I believe so, yes. You should see the car in person.
Which friend though, Rich up in Maryland? Last time I talked to him he was just finishing tuning the turbo upgrade and was waiting for a new tranny. THanks for reminding me to see how the project finished.

I keep on meaning to hit him up when i'm in NoVa
