If those with 3B don't mind me asking...

Approximately how many hours of labor for the motor builds? And about how long is the turnaround for the heads?

Thanks.

The V-Flow dynos over 20 additional HP on a tuned TT. How much more can it do? I think it has all the fresh air flow it needs, as designed. Part of it's design is the "venturi effect", which accelerates the flow of air over a given distance. I'm not positive if the "venturi effect" is responsible, but the piece produces great results and I believe the venturi design has something to do with it. I just hope mine continues to work as well when I install the larger K24/18G turbos shortly...I will be disappointed if I have to stop using it because I really like it.

Totally agree! I liked my V flow alot, it only bugged out a little bit when the weather really got cold, could have been my tuning and that as well who knows, but it never blew any of my MAF's!!

Kevin's piece again is amazing, cf work, design and so on.

My tec said about 50 hr soup to nuts, but I would say close to 35 just for the heads & rods. I'm doing a little more. the heads will be on a swap. We are the first ones, so a template needs to be made from ours for the folowing kits.

Bill, that looks killer. I thought you told me you dont work on cars? Kevin
Yes it is expensive, but one important thing to cosider is quality and most important support. Kevin gives dam near 24hr support rain or shine. The guy has been really sick lately and he still takes my calls, emails, packages, faxes, ect. How many people are this dedicated. Not to mention this is the end all be all in kit power Now you may make more power with a total custom setup, but it will cost more money After all you have to do all the R&D Great work Kevin!

Hardy, If I remember correctly Kevin said he had a Porsche dealer in the SouthWest that did a rod upgrade for 7500$, that was a full engine R+R, not an engine sent to the dealer...I dont recall the details ,buy it sounds like a competitive price for a mainline dealer... email him for the specifics.. Kevin
