GT2 Front spoiler, any difference?

I'm considering fitting a GT2 front bumper to my TT mainly to try and enhance the aerodynamics (and also because they look good)

Has anyone noticed a difference in feel at high speed after fitting the GT2 front spoiler? I'm hoping it would feel a little more planted as the front goes pretty light at around 150 in current trim.

If anyone can give me an idea of the kind of price I should expect to pay for this conversion please feel free to PM me.

Thanks all.

Do you mean the whole bumper or just the small spoiler.

you can't just get the small spoiler as they do not fit the normal turbo front bumper so i think he meant the full gt2 front bumper + lip.

anyone ? and how much would it cost?

You would need to buy a bumper which is roughly $2k, I believe..not including the paint. Then to do it right, you need to redo the piping behind the bumper which adds another $1k. Without messing with the piping, the intercoolers need to be adjusted to fit a GT2 bumper and the downside is a loss in air intake.

Got a quote from James at GMG racing a while back

There are allot of parts that are needed to install a GT2 bumper properly on a 996TT

You will need

Front bumper-
chin spoiler
radiator vent
rear radiator duct
center duct
left duct
right duct
headlight trim left and right side
radiator extension

Cost for all the parts runs right at $2900.00 - that's everything to properly install it ( we have done well over a dozen cars- )
Paint costs $800.00 to color match - prep and paint.
