New TT for me finally
New TT for me finally
Well after 3 PPI on three different cars 2002 and 2001's I finally got one and got home today.
2001 TT
29000 Miles
Seal Grey
Grey interior
Interesting Drive from the MidWest to Vermont but went well
Made offers on three cars but this was the best one hopefully patience will of paid off.
Same year and color as the C4 I sold last month so no one in the neighborhood will be the wiser!
Already ordered:
-New tires
-Shortshifter
-Alum pedals...
Getting the clearbra on tomorrow and it will hibernate for a while.
Still Shopping for Alumin Shifter/Parking Break Lever.
Pictures are after going at the carwash this evenning so it was still wet.

Very nice. Same color I am seeking!
Just a few months 'behind' you it seems.

PS How was Luxury to deal with? I've heard very mixed reports- mostly bad- and they would not leave me alone once they got a cell number!

I did my homework had the car PPIed at a local Porsche dealer and we worked out the items to be fixed monetarly. They were very accomodable.
I flew to Chicago to bring the car back but I had made clear that if there was no deal once I inspected the car that there was a $179 flight back home.
One other item I do when shopping for a car or a boat like that is prove to the seller with letters of credit or bank balances without a doubt to them that I have the money for the deal.
A lot of tire kickers waist their time and I can understand a certain degree of impatience if you're non commital.
Congrats, I remember driving my turbo home from the dealer in Ohio to Michigan. It was so much fun to keep looking in the rear view mirror and seeing the PORSCHE script in the rear window!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
