...if he spanked a C6 ZO6 as badly as you've implied in your first post, you'll probably need at least 650 HP at the crank to run with him, and that will cost some serious $$.

Tell him to turn the boost down and run on pump gas... that will be fair...

Nissan Silvia = 240SX (or 200SX in UK)
Mitsu GTO = 3000GT (or Dodge Stealth)
Toyota Aristo = Lexus GS
Toyota Vitz = Echo
Honda Euro Accord = Acura TSX

It goes on and on and on...

Run him up to 180 and see if he can hang. I had a 240sx previously. Fun little car for sure. Also swapped out the domestic 2.4 liter engine in a friends car for the 2.0 liter turbo engine. Fun times.

i miss my 240... sickest car i have EVER owned...**** was so much fun... slide from side to side...or nail a whole ...so simple always.. and with the setup it moved...500rwhp on those cars is PERFECT.... but its ment to be a fun car not a drag car..lol

Do you know if he has an SR20DET or swapped an RB motor from a Skyline? T88 is way too big of a turbo for an SR20DET.

Sounds like you already KNOW who has the faster car and handicapping him (pump gas) is kinda weak; because that doesn't really prove anything. If you REALLY need to beat this guy, send your ride to Protomotive with a $20K check Otherwise, just race him for fun and be prepared for a loss. I personally wouldn't modify my car just for the sake of beating a Sylvia. Goodluck either way; could be a lotta fun!

I say race him for fun then make your mod accessments. Each car length will take roughly $5k of mods to make up.
