BTW it will cost you the switch $20 or so dollars & a garage door opener which you prob have. You need some fastners wire pliars and a soldering gun. It is a pretty simple DIY if you follow his instructions... Much cheaper then the $225

Here you go

Garage Door Mod

I used the Targa roof switch, it looks just like a Garage door almost.

I believe since the switch is a rocker switch you CAN make it control multiple garage doors. Click one way for one door and the other way for the other door. It will require connecting the negative part of your openers into one wire and the positive wire from each would connect to the two side slots on the switch. If I had multiple garage doors I would have done it, but because I don't it's a bit more difficult to explain, but it can be done.

Sandoval, I don't know if they come shiny. I have the powerlock switch still and that one is shiny.

tme will become famous soon enough
I ordered it from sharkworks and they hooked up 2 openers to 1 switch, each side opens a different door.

I am reviving this thread as I want to do this upgrade as well.

I can't seem to get sharkworks' website to come up. Are they still around?

OK,

The problem was that the link is incorrect.

Here is the proper link...

Mehrabani

You can do two openers with one switch. I did it for Alex (Sharkster). He has a gate and a garage door. We hooked them both to one switch.

Sharkworks = 225.95
DIY = $40.00

No Brainer...
