Car is looking ridiculous, Scott. Must be killing you waiting for it.
It is, but not as much as having it less than 100% when I receive it would.

OK. Well that's good then. Just keep'n up with all the advance processes you ballers are implementing. I didn't think a you could blow a head gasket with this in place. Learn something every day! I'm sure Todd K alread has it fixed up.

Best Regards, Mike

We missed you at the track today Scott. Several records were broken today! Was hoping your 996TT would break some too. I'll let you know about the next track rental if you'll still be interested.

It was too hot, hopefully next time we will have cooler weather for better times. Also, the BIG power 996whp 328 almost wrecked on his first pass then broke the driveshaft on the second. They went to a junk yard and bought a driveshaft and installed it AT the track but apparently when the driveshaft broke, the trans mount also broke, which tilted the engine and the fan broke and hit the crank sensor and the car ran like crap! It sucked for him so just be glad that didnt happen to you. He'll have it patched up and ready for next time with a custom driveshaft. Video summary of his: www.bmwturbo328.com/street/notgood.wmv

Records:
10.6 @ 141 in a turbo E36 M3 (he took it easy on the launch so he wouldnt break anything; 2.18 60')

11.2 @ 122 in a CL600 with just ECU/TCU tune (record for any 600 ET)

11.7 @ 118 in a CLK55 (I tied my previous record with lower trap)

I'll pm you some vids after I get them off my boss's camcorder.

WOW....interesting day, for sure. That really sucks about all the problems the 328 had.

Congrats on the great run in your car! You must have gotten a great 60' to tie your old record with slightly less power due to weather.

I'm looking forward to seeing the other vids. Thanks.

Thanks Scott. Last time I ran 11.7 I had a 1.7 60' and this time it was a 1.748 (there was over 30 degree difference as well) I think the custom heat exchanger is really helping (didnt have it or exhaust last time). I might get cutouts because i think the car may have lost power from the eisenmann race muffler. I dont wanna clutter up your thread any more than I already have, sorry. See you next time.

BBGT2- Its a heavyyyyy car too!
