There is a uk car going to be getting a full Proto blow through set up fitted soon it will be good to see what it does against some of the Euro tuned cars.
It seems over here there is still alot of badge snobbery where people class Porsches as a status symbol , where over in the states they seem to be classed as a good base to start modding from.
There was a EVO tuned 997tt in one of the mag tests over here, up against some euro tuned cars and for the claimed power (700bhp) it did not do too well.

I have seen 1.9 bar on a stock bottom 996 with my own eyes.

Powell and I hit it one night in third gear. The car spun violently (Prob making well over 900rwhp). We both had huge eyes when we saw what it had spiked.

Just so you know it is possible, just not the norm. Yet......

wow resurection from the dead... Zac , i never said it cant be done ... and yes you can run 1.9 here and there , but its only a matter of time till it lets go running high boost like that all the time. never said its not possible... thats why people get their bottom end built do have some peace of mind.
