Sure, but I meant red (bright red) and grey inside. The exterior is seal grey.

It's looking like the owner might settle for less than $80k, maybe even low 70s. Anyone know a good place in Cali to get the interior replaced at a reasonable price? I know Porsche would charge about $15k for parts alone, but maybe someplace like Gemballa might be able to do the whole job for under $10k? I don't think I can deal with the bright red and grey.

Honestly, dump the rear seats.... u dont need them.
the side door accents u can buy cheap. I have a matching steering wheel, shifter, and handbreak. or buy a nice small wheel and ur done.
the dash can probably be color matched and or just get a new one.
I have stock grey seats as well. $500 a pair.

Markski im planning on taking my rear seats out next weekend - i know the seat cushion is basically velcro'ed (sp?) in and the top peice is just hindged, but what about the seat belt assembly, is it difficult to disconnet? Thanks

I would not buy that car. There are soooo many TT's for sale and you should be able to find the right one at the right price.

Aloha

Excellent, my first weight saving mod - should save a whole 5lbs.

At the topic on hand - i would switch out the interior, take markski up on his stock seats, do a little bit of painting on the interior and you have one fast, good looking turbo

The owner just took the car off the market. I guess he's bummed about the resale value and would rather keep it. Oh well.

You just answered your own question about selling it. Modded cars are a complete unknown. Imagine trying to get any money back out of it after 40k more miles.

You'll be thankful you didn't pull the trigger. Hold out for something cherry, there's tons of stock out there.

You're probably better off. Ton of cars available. Keep looking and get the one you really want without having to put the interior the way you want it etc.

Good luck. You'll find your car.
