Anybody W/ Aftermarket 996TT Exhaust in Denver ??

I've read every exhaust thread- 7 times...
Listened to every sound clip- 27 times...

Between the WIDE range of opinions, even on the same exhaust and the undependable nature of random sound clips I'd really like to hear some exhausts, in the flesh. I want a moderately quiet to medium toned exhaust w/ significantly better cold start/idle than stock.- This is where the stock exhaust really sucks(actually blows would be more accurate.) Also, NO DRONE ALLOWED. Power gains would be nice, but sound is more important. I've narrowed it down to Fabspeed Gen. 3, Europipe Stage II, Milltek and AWE. If anyone in the Denver area has one of these or one I've missed that you think would fill the bill, please let me know if you'ld be available for a quick listen. It looks like we finally have a gorgeous weekend ahead of us. Thanks

FLB... whenever I hear "NO DRONE ALLOWED" in caps like that I go for "safety" first meaning a Euopipe Stage II Quiet. The MillTek and AWE are on the quiet side too but have some slight resonance (to the sensitive types) to them. If you have a tip then it's also your only choice...

wross: would love to hear it when it's back up and running. Let me know when you'll be picking it up from Stevinson. Maybe we could meet on your way back up to Boulder, I'm up in Evergreen.

Two words - Seig Kreiss - in the "cat" mode it sounds great, no drone, only exhaust I've ever heard the turbos spool up - in the straight pipe it is a very very throaty sound - best of both worlds.

So why don't you have that exhaust?

Awesome, another local 996TT! Wross, sorry to hear about the problems you been having lately, but I'm sure we'll figure something out on it, and if you come by with the car, you can check out our 997 GT3 RS in Orange/black with orange stitching inside and full carbon interior. Really is a very nice combination and just an all around knock out car. I'm not sure when it is to be picked up but it has been there for a couple of weeks.
On a side note, we just did full Fabspeed on a 997tt and...wow no mistaking its a turbo, you can hear them spooling down with even a little throttle. First we did cat bypasses and mufflers, but he was getting a light, so we went back in and did hi-flow cats with mufler bypasses. Also has Fabspeed Headers and dual outlet tips. Sounds amazing!

Had it on my M3 = awesome...apparently on the 996tt, that is not the case. Reportedly it actually doesnt make as much power as stock, but i dont have any proof of that...and i would assume if it lost any power it would be in the 'closed' mode, but still, for that loot there are better options on this car.

I haven't dyno'd the car, but I guess that in the "cat" mode, the car is slower than the Cargraphic exhaust I had on - in "bypass" mode I certainly have more power than I had with the Cargraphic exhaust. I use the "cat" mode to get out of the neighborhood in the morning - I go to work very early. Once I hit the freeway, I open it up and don't close it until just before I crank it up the next morning.
