It isnt that hard, but I would recommend removing the air injection pump and sliding it to the side for beter access. The you can reach in and pull the metal clip securing the FPR...careful not to drop it, since it can get lost very easy. Kevin

Any way to decompress the fuel line or does it depressurized enough over time or is it really not a big issue? I can take pics when I do mine in the next couple of days. See, if I make that promise I'll get it done quicker.

It is not a big issue. Just use like lube for rebuilding a master when reinstalling. The oring is a bear to push past and clip.

I know that there is a fitting on the fuel filter that you can de-pressurize the pressure in the lines. Just undo the cap and press on the valve.

It is the big motor to the right of the TB. You can not miss it. The spport bracket holds the motor and the filler neck for the oil.

Posting here for Don in case he missed the PM:

If you can see it, and you are looking at the open end of the clip, it should just push out straight down. If the closed end is up, you could pull it straight up with a needle nose pliers. I actually tied a zip tie around the bottom side of the bobby pin to give me something to pull straight down on and to. You could try to push it out with a long set of 90deg needlenoses. I believe that's how I finally popped it out and it thankfully fell all the way to the ground. Hope this helps. Install the clip from above once you install the new FPR.

It depends on a number of factors incuding tuning, driving style and environment. I am at altitude, so without it and with my tuning...I might starve the engine of fuel.

Some kits call for them. The FVD stage 4 uses one and the ECU is programmed for one.
