Ok, i went and checked the tape. It Best Motoring Battle 02. Has the F50, Murci,Gemballa Gt500, Gt2, C4s, Nsx-R and Bmw Z8. Although Bmw wasnt in the race.

Firstly, even on the front and back cover of the movie you can see the hood on Gt2 is held on by hood fasteners. They are yellow or gold in color. On the inside, by the center console, there is a small Led screen which is either a boost gauge, boost controller, or exhaust gas temp monitor. The car has ceramic brakes. They do go underneath the Gt2 and spend a bunch of time on the turbos and headers. I cant tell if those are stock or not. The headers look very short. Anyone have a pic of stock headers on a gt2?

Also, hood does not have a Porsche crest, and the center console seems to have some gauges mounted where the Cd's would be stored.

I don't check this board often, and I don't have it linked on my computer at work.

I know the driver definately mentioned the PCCB in the intro of the cars, but since that is standard on the GT2 that is not a big deal. I don't understand Japanese, but they spell out ceramic brakes in english. The Gemballa had an issue with bad oversteer. I got the race segment on video. Are you sure they were underneth the car ? This sounds like the Porsche 911 TT (or video #2) segment they did (I have that on video) but that whole video they devoted to the 911 TT and how it stacked up. They had a very in depth examination of the 911 TT on that one including going under the car & around it.

No, its defiantely #2. The Gt2 is a dark colored car. They go underneath it. Even on the pics on the box, you can see the hood pins.

Not sure what you mean by #2. The #2 video was on the M3. The #3 video was on a Orient Red 911 TT. It is titled "The 996 TT The King ?"

On the vid on my computer entitled "The Last Chapter Supercar Dream Battle '02" there are no hood pins on the dark blue GT2, it does have the clubsport pack with the seats, rollbar and harnesses though.

Lets see:

I tried to blow it up, but any bigger and it real fuzzy. You can see the 2 dots where the hood pins are though. In the full video, you can clearly see them, bright as day.

Now if you watch the video, look inside the Gt2, you will se an led screen, on the bottom left corner. Then youll also see that it has additional gauges where the cd holder would be.Now, i cant tell what is stock and what is not underneath, but i can bet that if someone took the time to replace body panels, and boost gauges etc, that they just didnt leave the motor stock.

Also, did you look closely at the F50? Definately not stock.
