The 911 turbo should be closer to the gallardo than the NSX type R. Best motoring tends to favor their japanese cars and they definitely are biased.

 

Yes, and we know how well Porsche's of late hold their value. Did you know the Porsche Cayanne is the quickest depreciating Suv? Have you tried selling a 996TT or 996? How about those Boxsters?

 

The Nsx-R is actually a very formidable track car. Lots of mods, no a/c etc. But i agree, Best Motoring is not a very reliable soure of info. They uses modded cars against stock cars, some cars are driven much harder than others, et.

 

Porsches, Lambos all depreciate like granny's Buick. Nothing new there.Been that way forever. My '86 944 Turbo was $37K when new and you can buy some now for the price of a current 996 Turbo aftermarket exhaust . Buying cars is like pissing in the wind. OTOH, my real estate portfolio has done VERY nicely in the past 20 years. Passive income is the best income. Allen got any good property in Maui ...I've got this GREAT shopping center on Blackstone in Fresno ....

 

Best Motoring videos (BM) are for entertainment only. It's worth mentioning that in an earlier BM video, a 996TT ran a good 3 seconds faster than an NSX-R ....

Regardless, you seem to get some sort of kick out of putting down Porsches with your look at me! Give me your attention! Signature and posts. Hey, if you really want to believe your 6 year old Lambo or 7 year old F car are faster (or in any way better) than a stock 996TT, I'm not going to stop you.

Just for the record, in Best Motoring videos the japanese cars are on r-compound tires.

 

The 355 is certainly not faster, the Lambo will destroy a stock 996TT. Inmo, the Diablo is also a much better car than the 996TT. The 355 is not. Personally, i dont like the 355 much, but my wife does.

As for my Esprit, its never given me a problem. I love it.

Funny how my signature, which is the same as virtually any other signature, is now a hey look at me sig.

 

You think a stage 4 TT can take a Diablo?? I hope to prove it either way, my friend has a Diablo and we plan on doing a run.

 

A stage 4 will definately beat a Diablo. Thats comparing apples and oranges.

I think it's a 98, I'll get the specifics when I see him. I disagree that it is comparing apples to oranges, the way I see it, a Porsche with a very easy mod, can be made to beat such an expensive high performance car, don't get me wrong, I think Lambos are very nice cars, just way too expensive and flashy for my taste, maybe my tone would change, if I could afford one.
