This waffle is exactly like the ones that are needed in the E46 M3s. I remember getting a CE light until I put it in. Apparently the turbulence causes the MAF to freak out. They even came out with an aftermarket "Gizmo" for this.

Hitachi MAF sounds promising. It also sounds like Evo is possibly putting this in their GT700 kits but not sure about this yet. Still waiting for a response.

So who has this Hitachi MAF installed? I'm supposed to be getting one 3 weeks ago (you just have to laugh sometimes). My car is running real nice now that I've replaced 2 leaking injectors, 3 boost leaks and put the stock air box back in. I'm afraid to change anything!

Please give me any Hitachi MAF feedback you may have, good or bad. I'd be pissed if I made the changes, reflashed my ECU and then found out of little issues! I hate little issues!

Feel free to PM me!

Thanks, Mike
