Hi.
I'm trying to lighten my car and considering GT3 seats. I
searched on Ebay, and found a company in Taiwan making
copies of GT3 seats for about $1,800 delivered. Has anyone
gotten/seen these? PM me if you have info please!

Hey Joe.. I know a few people ended up getting these... not fia approved etc..

 

Do they come with the porsche insignia?

 

I ordered a set, mainly because I didn't want to wait 6 months for custom ones to be made, and I'll report back when I receive them.

 

At that price, they must be the "Cheapo" imatations.

I've seen them once and honestly they seemed to be off in a few subtle areas. I know Arling saw them as well so he might have more insight. The way they went together wasn't exactly correct either...

 

Don't make the mistake of ever doing business with this person. Research the name, problems are solved by dropping the eBay name and starting another one. Thank God for AMEX protecting me for the purchase I made from them. They have NO scruples.

 

Really? That sucks. I had a good experience with the same guy with a wing I bought.

 

Can you elaborate?

 

The wings look good,
the seats are questionable.
Look for a used set of "real ones" or buy a set of new ones,
several of the board sponsors can help you out.

Just recieved my GT3 seats from them and they are no bueno. Stay far away the quality and fit is not what anyone here would want...
