Im new here!! hello

Hello all Ive been checking out this site for a while and have found it very informitive to say the least. A few months ago i bought a 02 seal gray 996tt and i must say this is one great car. The former owner was nice enough to have a stage 2 Evo motorsports upgrade done as well as k16 headers and the pump and race gas flashloader. To be honest im not sure if its got k24 turbos or k16 but it sure halls ***. Can any body tell from the time slips here if there k16s or 24s?? All this was done with 19" rims and race gas 103.
60' 1.737
330' 4.906
1/8 7.438
MPH 98.86
1000' 9.615
1/4 11.441
MPH 124.05

does this seem normal for k16s or not?
heres my first run on pump gas http://media.putfile.com/Atco-1st-pass-1188

I wouldnt think K16 would be capable of that. Maybe hybrids or K24s you have.

It's possible. I ran 11.65 @ 126 with a 1.89 60' in my my car when it had the OEM K16's, intake, exhaust and chip...but you're the only person I've seen so far that has come close to that with another K16 car. It's definitely not the norm. You had a better 60' than I did and the temps at Atco were quite cold on 13 March...so it seems about right.

Welcome, by the way.

If you think someone installed K24's on a K16 car, I'd check with the original owner.

If you think it might be a K24 car, read here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...hlight=car+x50
