I know there has been a lot of talk regarding a lower price for GIAC software upgrades. As of March 18, 2004, all GIAC Stage I and Stage II software upgrades will be priced at $2000. Stages III, IV and IV GT/GTR pricing will remain the same. We are well aware that some of you have paid $3500 for the same upgrade. During the normal course of manufacturing and development of any new product, and as the product makes its way to the market and stays on the market, pricing changes over time.

We value all of you 6 Speeders as loyal customers and for any of you that paid the original price of $3500, Evolution Motorsports and authorized EVO dealers will issue you a $1500 credit towards the upgrade to a higher level tuning package. For example, if you paid $3500 for a Stage I upgrade, and you wish to upgrade to Stage IV, you would typically pay the difference between the two packages which is, $12,000. With this credit, you would pay $10,500 for the Stage IV upgrade. We hope this offer is acceptable and value your business and opinions. Gang, this is something that Todd, myself and GIAC have talked about for hours on end. The overwhelming support from you guys has been nothing short of amazing. The years of development and movement of levels I and II have allowed us to restructure and proudly drop the pricing to the masses. Collectively EVO and ImagineAuto are the largest reseller and installer of Porsche products for GIAC. That being said nothing brings us greater joy then continued support to our customers and future customers by listening to the request and fulfilling them.

Any previous Stage I or II customers through EVO or ImagineAuto will be issued an immediate 1500.00 credit towards future stage III/IV/IVGT upgrades on GIAC programming.

Once again Todd and I thank you for the continued support. We couldn't do what we do without you!

Handled with class guys, but I agree, the price still seams a little high. Sadly, I'm after 4gtr performance so it really doesn't matter. I was hoping for an across the board move? Please?

 

So I guess the buy one get one free idea would be out of the question?
