I just installed clear side turn signals...
And I want to know what bulbs I can put in them so they match the blue tint of the Xenon lights. I heard they are called Bluevision, but i dont know who makes them, or what size I need to buy....
Thanks
Thanks
They are made by Philips - check here http://www.powerbulbs.com/products/p...d=psv&type=IND (its where I got mine - although in the UK they ship fast!!)
If you buy a paur of the non-yellow glass indicators you get a free pair of bluevisions and the second paur of silvervision indicators at 15% off

Thanks Mansour... But they dont say that you get a free pair of bluevision... do I need to call them. Also, which bluevisions fit my car... I think it is this one, but I am not sure http://www.powerbulbs.com/products/p...=pbvs&type=W5W
Also, will those silver visions are the proper fit for the Turbo?

You can also paint your yeollow bulb silver, this makes it look clear when not in use, but still blinks amber (a god thing if you have a cop looking).

I actually have clear bulbs in as of now, but they have that yellow tint to them. Do cops really care? They are not the blinking lghts acually, the side lights only go on when the cars headlights are on, I dont even know why we need them.

Why buy silvervision bulbs when you can make your own?

Go for it, I am almost sure a cop can ticket you for it.

DOT in the state of North Carolina, and I suspect in other states as well, specifically says amber side indicators are required. The only reason the dealers will sell the clear side lense is b/c it is assumed you will leave the bulb yellow. The yellow/amber bulb meets the DOT criterea. So at least in NC, you can get a ticket for clear side lights. You can also get one for tinting that is too dark on the front windshield, wearing a restraint harness instead of a standard seat belt, inadequate padding on a roll bar in an area that might contact a driver or passenger, non grooved tires, and of course, speeding. To make up for all of this we don't have to have a front liscence plate.

No offense, and I don't mean it mean, but won't that look like a ricer Accord or something? Any non-headlight that is 'blue' just looks riced out IMO. On a Porsche it cheapens the car a little IMO.

Today I installed SYLVANIA 1157A ST Silverstar's in my '97 TT clear side marker lites/turn signals. The bulbs are silver but burn bright orange and are100 % street legal. I tried the one's advertised at FVD, they didn't fit. (Wrong offsets on the bulb plug in) The Siverstars are available at Advance Auto Parts !!!! $19.98 a pair.I'm sure they have a replacement bulb for your '03 Turbo mehrabani1..see www.sylvania.com
