After I had a coil-over installed and the suspension professionally adjusted and corner-balanced (by the crew chief of a local Porsche race team)...it handles better than anything I've ever owned. Feels like a stock GT2 with better turn-in (crew chief agrees).

But as far as the tranny...it's the same one, except it has a cover plate on it where the front driveshaft normally protrudes from, as well as an external transmission oil cooler (which is what I assume you're talking about when you say "oil-cooled gears" and "oil-cooler").

No, I didn't. If I was tracking my car on road courses, I'd definitely consider it. But for street driving and the dragstrip, I think I'll stay with an open diff.

Is the only part needed the plate cover?
I had a gaurd LSD installed less than 300 miles ago, so I am strongly
considering the diff removal.
I was told that all u have to do is take out the axles and the diff is right there... no need for major tranny work...

I have never seen a 996tt tranny add the sprayer, mainly due to the cost. I have seen an oil cooler added to the 996tt tranny.
Trannt Oil Pump and mount bar.

Tranny cooler

Connection from pump to tranny case
