Wow, you couldn't have been more correct. I don't think the shop even aligned the car. Fronts were toed out, rear was all over the place. What a difference with a proper alignment.

My car came with a JIC Cross suspension. How is the adjustment for soft/stiff done? I.e. What does counterclockwise do vs clockwise?

Yes,

Like he ^ said. Think of tightening a bolt or nut.
You can adjust your fronts by turning your wheels all the way one way
(and then the other way for the other side), by just reaching in and turning
the stainless steel screw **** (it has knurling on it). Remember it is facining down
so that is your orientation (as if you were under it looking up at it). Easy to
adjust the fronts.

I had the 8/12 and even after an alignment it was a bit bumpy. Then I realized I had an end-link problem as well. I've gone ahead and got the 7/10 Springs and all new Endlinks from TRG to go in tomorrow with a fresh alignment and corner balance on Friday.

I previously had a "Race shop" do the alignment as they had done plenty of my cars before, but this time around I've found the local Porsche dealer to be the best option for an alignment at the recommendation of many friends.

What was wrong with the end-links? What alignment specs are you going with?

Link broke ,didn't trust them after that so I went with the TRG units which came in today and look MUCH beefer than even the "fixed" JICs. I'm going to leave the alignment specs up to the alignment specialist at Porsche, at this point I just need more of a "Street" alignment/correction and corner balance.

I'm running the 8/12 set up and on the street I run 12 out from full stiff and 13 out in the rear. I also have the H&R rear sway bar, set at middle. My tire pressures are 36f and 40r. I find the ride much better than the stock suspension.

On the track I run the fronts at 6 from full stiff and 7 in the rears with the sway bar set to stiff. I just did the VIR full course with Toyo r8's and I was very happy with this set up. I also had the car aligned and corner balanced.

I have heard of guys breaking the front links and I think the TRG links will be going on this winter.

I used the Tarat links, very nice and strong!

Either way, change the links before they break on you!

Mine is max hard in the rear and 3 clicks from full stiff in the front. It is bouncy, but I like it race like and dont drive much on the street.

Medici78...what woodtster said for the fronts You have to remove the subwoofer (at least on my 03) to get access to the dampener adjustments in the rear. carfeully pry the speaker brackets off and you will see two screws, one on each side. Remove and slide out the woofer to get to the Coilovers. Adjust it the same way...leftie loosie, rightie tightie

Takes me less than 5 minutes to change the settings all around
